DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Sama is a versatile climbing harness designed for those who frequent both the gym and the crag, with occasional excursions on multi-pitch routes. Its construction balances comfort and freedom of movement without compromising everyday practicality.
Construction and fit
The waistbelt is flexible and slimmed down at the front, a technical choice that reduces bulk around the abdomen and does not hinder movement during climbing maneuvers. The pre-positioned elastic leg loops adapt to the body's shape without requiring constant adjustments, maintaining a stable fit even in the most dynamic positions. This combination guarantees a wide range of motion, which is particularly beneficial for high-excursion movements such as lunges or high leg lifts.
Technical features
- 4 rigid gear loops that open easily even with gloves on or when your hands are full
- Dorsal belay loop for rope management on multi-pitch routes
- CE EN 12277 certification for climbing harnesses
- Waistbelt adjustment buckle for quick adaptation to clothing bulk
The Sama stands out as a practical choice for those seeking a reliable harness for different sporting contexts, from indoor sessions to multi-pitch routes, without overemphasizing either extreme lightness or maximum comfort: a functional balance suited for regular and varied use.
