DESCRIPTION
The Fixe canyoning harness protector is a specific accessory for those who participate in activities in aquatic environments and on wet rock, where mechanical stress on the harness is particularly intense. Made of TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), the protector takes advantage of the properties of this material — high flexibility, abrasion resistance, and impermeability — to shield the areas of the harness most prone to wear.
Construction and materials
Sealed seams prevent water from seeping inside the protector, avoiding moisture buildup that could compromise the integrity of the TPU or the underlying structure of the harness over time. The outer surface offers superior abrasion resistance compared to the standard fabric of harnesses, significantly reducing wear caused by continuous rubbing against rock walls, slides, and fixed anchors typical of canyoning.
Practical application
It is applied directly to the leg loops and waist belt of the harness in the most critical contact areas, extending the useful life of the equipment in intensive use conditions.
