DESCRIPTION
The Sirana by Edelrid is a versatile harness designed for those who alternate between multi-pitch routes, mountaineering tours, and high-altitude outings. The recent revision introduced Center Fit technology: the padding of the waist belt slides laterally and always positions itself in the center of the pelvis, ensuring a precise fit regardless of body shape or the layers of clothing worn.
Construction and adjustment
The 28 mm Slide Block buckles allow for quick adjustment of the leg loops and waist belt even while wearing gloves, a practical feature that makes a difference in alpine conditions. The lightweight structure does not compromise on padding in the main load-bearing areas, correctly distributing pressure during long belays or in the event of a fall.
Gear organization
- Updated gear loops in shape and positioning for more intuitive access to quickdraws, friends, and carabiners
- Dedicated service loop for ice screws and technical tools
- Reinforced belay loop certified for use as a secondary anchor point
The Navy color reflects Edelrid's understated aesthetic, suitable for both crag use and alpine environments. For those looking for a versatile harness that follows from the second pitch of a classic route to a high-altitude mixed climb, the Sirana offers a concrete balance between prolonged comfort, ease of use, and low weight.
