DESCRIPTION
The Edelrid Prisma Guide is the alpine harness designed for those tackling mixed terrain, ski touring, and high-altitude excursions where every gram counts. Derived from the Prisma model, this Guide version pushes the concept of lightness to the limit without sacrificing comfort and operational functionality in the field.
Construction and comfort
The leg loops and waist belt feature thin but effective padding, designed to ensure comfort even during prolonged stops on a wall or glacier. The structure remains ultralight and compact, ideal for carrying in your backpack when the harness is not in use, or for wearing over winter technical layers without feeling bulky.
Organization and attachment points
- Lined and shaped gear loops, which retain their shape to facilitate the quick attachment of quickdraws, friends, and ice screws even while wearing gloves
- Additional gear loops for optimal equipment distribution on demanding alpine outings
- Dedicated attachment point for ice screws, a specific feature of the Guide version that sets it apart from the base harness
The Prisma Guide is aimed at those who traverse ridges, couloirs, and alpine routes where equipment management must be quick and intuitive. The Grey colorway maintains a discreet profile suitable for the mountain environment. A harness that perfectly balances the requirements: light enough for ski touring, organized enough for technical mountaineering.
