DESCRIPTION
The Black Diamond Bouldering Brush Small is a technical bouldering brush with natural boar bristles, designed to effectively clean holds of chalk residue, dust, and dirt accumulated during climbing sessions. The tapered bristles allow it to reach even the deepest, most recessed, or difficult-to-clean holds that standard brushes can't.
Construction and Materials
The handle has a contoured ergonomic profile that keeps your hand away from the rock during use: this seemingly minor detail makes a real difference when brushing on inclined surfaces or holds very close to the wall. The boar bristles offer the right stiffness to remove chalk deposits without excessively abrading the rock or altering the texture of the holds.
Usage and Context
- Ideal for outdoor bouldering sessions, where cleaning holds is an integral part of working on a project.
- The compact size of the Small version makes it easy to handle on small holds, crimps, and narrow pockets.
- Easily transportable in a chalk bag or backpack without bulk.
Regular use between attempts helps maintain maximum friction on the hold, reducing variables related to rock conditions and allowing you to focus on the movement.
