DESCRIPTION
Mammut's Aenergy Light SO Shorts are softshell shorts designed for mountaineering and climbing in warm conditions, where equipment weight is noticeable and freedom of movement makes a difference. The construction is essential without sacrificing functionality: two zippered pockets protect essentials during dynamic movements, while the adjustable waistband allows for a custom fit for various outing needs.
Fabric and Climate Performance
The main strength is the material: a lightweight and breathable softshell that effectively manages heat on high-intensity summer days. The fabric's structure balances mechanical protection—essential on rock or mixed terrain—with high breathability, preventing overheating during the most demanding sections. The result is a pair of shorts that remain comfortable both on the approach and on the wall.
Fit and Freedom of Movement
- Sporty women's cut, optimized for typical climbing and alpine trekking movements
- Adjustable elastic waistband for a secure fit without restriction
- Two zippered pockets for phone, chalk, or keys
- Softshell construction with abrasion resistance suitable for use on rocky terrain
Ideal for multi-pitch routes in summer, crag outings, or fast approaches where long pants would be excessive, the Aenergy Light SO Shorts find their natural habitat whenever the temperature rises and the goal remains ambitious.
