The Kong Ferrata Twist Lock is an aluminum locking carabiner with a 2-movement Twist Lock automatic locking sleeve, designed for rope access work or vertical activities with high safety requirements. The carefully designed shape of the body guarantees a generous 26 mm opening, one of the largest in its category, which facilitates quick attachment to lanyards, anchors, and rings even when wearing gloves or in stressful conditions.
Locking and safety system
The Twist Lock automatic locking sleeve requires two distinct movements to open the gate, reducing the risk of accidental opening during progression. The Keylock system eliminates the nose on the gate, preventing unintentional attachment to webbing, nets, or anchoring structures and simplifying unlocking under load. This combination makes the carabiner suitable for professional use.
