Wild Country Wildscrew Screwgate Carabiner
Wild Country Wildscrew Screwgate Carabiner - Turquoise is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
DESCRIPTION
The Wild Country Wildscrew is a screwgate carabiner with a hot-forged double T-section ("I Beam"), designed to offer a precise balance between structural strength and weight containment. At only 48 grams, it is among the lightest connectors in its category, without compromising the reliability required in situations where certified closure is mandatory.
Construction and Materials
The hot forging of the "I Beam" section allows material to be distributed where the structure truly needs it, eliminating mass where it is not necessary. The result is a rigid and compact body, with optimized contact surfaces to facilitate the sliding of the rope or quickdraw, reducing friction in anchoring and belay operations.
Screwgate and Usage
The screwgate ensures a secure and visually verifiable lock, making it suitable for use on belays, fixed anchors, belay systems, and connections with technical equipment. The gate geometry and body profile are designed to facilitate opening and closing with one hand, even when wearing gloves or experiencing muscle fatigue.
