DESCRIPTION
The Wild Country Session Screw Gate is a hot-forged aluminum screw-gate carabiner, designed for those seeking a reliable and compact connector to integrate into multiple safety systems, from route setup to anchor building.
Construction and Geometry
Hot forging ensures a uniform distribution of stress throughout the carabiner body, increasing structural strength without adding weight. Its compact profile makes it easy to handle even with gloves or in low visibility, and it integrates easily with most climbing gear available. The Keylock nose eliminates the risk of snagging on quickdraws, rings, and slings, reducing time wasted during lowering or gear retrieval. The straight gate facilitates quick clipping, even with one hand.
Safety and Use
The threaded screw-gate closure ensures stable mechanical locking throughout all phases of use, making it suitable as an anchor connector, in multi-pitch belays, or as a backup element in belay systems. Thanks to the ratio between certified strength and reduced bulk, it is a solid choice for those who want to optimize their rack without compromising reliability.
