DESCRIPTION
The Skylotec OBX SG is a hot-forged aluminum locking carabiner with an oval shape and screw lock, suitable for many climbing, mountaineering, and rope access activities where hardware, ropes, and connectors need to stay in position and slide smoothly.
The symmetrical oval shape keeps ropes and hardware aligned and centered: it is ideal for wide-profile devices such as pulleys, blockers, and belay devices. The curved spine and 22 mm gate opening make it easy to clip and unclip, while the reinforced contact points improve rope glide and wear resistance. The Key Lock catch-free closure, without a locking pin, prevents the gate from snagging on ropes, hardware, or anchors.
