DESCRIPTION
The Kong HMS Screw Polish is a pear-shaped (HMS) carabiner made of high-strength aluminum, designed for belaying with a half hitch knot (HMS). The wide-base geometry is optimized to allow the knot to slide and invert smoothly during lowering or dynamic belaying, reducing friction at critical moments.
Technical features
The Keylock system eliminates the hook on the top of the carabiner, thus avoiding accidental snagging with quickdraws, rings, and other connectors during positioning and retrieval. The screw gate ensures a reliable and controllable manual lock, preferable in situations where maximum awareness of the locking status is desired.
