DESCRIPTION
The Edelrid Corazon is a locking carabiner with an unmistakable silhouette: its heart shape is not just an aesthetic element, but a functional choice that optimizes rope positioning at the load point. The metal locking sleeve ensures a secure and durable closure, suitable for intensive use both at the crag and in the gym.
Construction and technical performance
The high-strength aluminum alloy structure keeps the weight low without compromising strength. The gate is equipped with a metal screw-lock sleeve, which ensures reliable locking and long-lasting wear resistance compared to plastic sleeves. The asymmetrical geometry of the body promotes the automatic orientation of the carabiner during use, reducing the risk of incorrect positioning under load.
When and how to use it
The Corazon is perfectly suited as a connecting carabiner for anchors, quickdraws, and belay systems. The heart shape makes it easy to load multiple ropes or slings while maintaining optimal force distribution. It is a practical and reliable solution for those looking for a metal-sleeved connector with a geometry designed for technical applications in vertical environments.
