DESCRIPTION
The CT Lime SG is a classic-shaped screw-gate carabiner, made from hot-forged aluminum alloy to ensure an optimal ratio between structural strength and low weight. Hot forging gives the carabiner body a superior molecular density compared to standard processing, resulting in greater resistance to the dynamic stresses typical of climbing.
Construction and closure
The closure system uses a "catch-free" screw gate, designed to eliminate the risk of accidental snagging on ropes, harnesses, or fabrics during progression. This construction detail significantly reduces operational interference in situations of continuous movement, making the carabiner particularly reliable in mountaineering contexts where speed of maneuver is essential.
Technical data and use
- Material: hot-forged aluminum alloy
- Closure: catch-free screw gate
- Shape: classic symmetrical, optimized for load on the longitudinal axis
- Colour: Blue
The versatility of its classic geometry makes it suitable for a wide range of uses: from anchoring on sport climbing routes to use as a primary connector in belay systems on rock and ice. The combination of structural robustness and compact manageability makes the Lime SG a solid choice for those looking for a reliable screw-gate carabiner over time.
