CAMP Atom Lock Carabiner - Green
CAMP Atom Lock Carabiner - Green - Green is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
DESCRIPTION
The Atom Lock is an HMS screw-gate carabiner developed by CAMP for belaying with main friction devices (such as the Munter hitch) and for rappelling. The enlarged pear shape allows the rope to run at optimal angles, reducing stress on the material and improving descent control even with heavy loads.
Technology and construction
The Atom Lock's strength is the SphereLock system, a spherical nose geometry that optimizes the lever play between the gate and the carabiner body: the result is a more reliable closure and a reduction in the risk of accidental opening under lateral or torsional load. The locking sleeve ensures secure gate closure in the most demanding situations, from aid climbing to wet rock belays.
Technical characteristics
- Type: HMS with screw lock
- Gate opening: wide for quick attachments even with gloves
- Major axis strength: high, suitable for progression and belay use
- SphereLock geometry to optimize load distribution
- Color: Green
Thanks to its generous opening, the Atom Lock is suitable for quick attachment even in stressful situations or with imprecise hands. It is a solid choice for those looking for a reliable, easy-to-handle HMS carabiner built with a geometry designed for active safety.
