DESCRIPTION
The Black Diamond HotForge Screwgate is a lightweight and compact screwgate carabiner, designed for those who seek reliability and durability in situations where safety is non-negotiable.
Its structure is hot-forged: a technique that allows for weight reduction in non-critical areas and concentrates material exactly where strength and robustness are needed. The result is a solid carabiner without unnecessary weight.
The low-profile, snag-free nose makes clipping quick and un-clipping immediate, even in stressful situations or when wearing gloves.
Versatile for multiple uses:
- Ideal for anchors
- Perfect for top-roping
- Compatible with the clove hitch knot
- Suitable for all situations requiring a reliable screwgate carabiner for everyday use
- Climbing
- Mountaineering
