DESCRIPTION
Dynafit 80 mm ski crampons are specific accessories for ski touring bindings, designed to ensure grip and control on slopes with icy snow, hard crust, or compact surfaces where skis tend to slip during ascent. They are mounted directly on the binding and become part of the routine for every outing in critical winter conditions.
Construction and compatibility
The 80 mm width makes them suitable for a wide range of ski touring bindings, ensuring extensive compatibility with the most popular systems on the market. The design is optimized to keep weight to a minimum, a fundamental feature in a context like ski touring where every extra gram translates into additional fatigue over long ascents.
When they make a difference
On traverses on bare ice, in the morning hours with frozen snow, or on exposed slopes where the crust won't bear weight, crampons transform a potentially risky situation into something manageable. The steel points bite into the surface and reduce the risk of the ski tip slipping sideways, increasing the stability of each step uphill. They are a safety item to always carry in your backpack when the weather or the exposure of the route are unpredictable.
