The North Face Base Camp backpack is a direct evolution of the renowned Base Camp duffel bag, featuring its rugged, waterproof, and abrasion-resistant heat-welded PVC fabric while transforming it into an everyday backpack with additional features designed for carrying technical equipment and electronics.
Construction and protection
The load-bearing structure includes a padded back panel not found on the original duffel bag, which distributes the weight across the back during long hauls. The spacious, well-organized main compartment features a dedicated laptop sleeve for devices up to 16 inches, lined with fleece to protect the screen and casing from bumps and scratches.
