DESCRIPTION
Pieps PRO IPS is a professional avalanche transceiver designed for mountain guides, rescuers, instructors, and expert ski tourers who demand the utmost in terms of precision, reliability, and performance during avalanche rescue.
At the heart of the device are two key technologies: the Interference Protection System (IPS), which reduces the influence of electronic and metallic interference during transmission, and Dual Antenna Signal Processing (D.A.S.P.), which simultaneously processes the signal received on the X and Y antennas to ensure more precise and stable localization even in the most complex search situations.
Search performance features a maximum range of 70 meters and a search strip width of 80 meters, thanks to a 3-antenna system.
Integrated advanced features include:
- Scan Mode – for the effective management of multiple-victim scenarios
- Victim Selection – to isolate and locate individual victims
- Group Check Pro-Mode – for quick group checks
- Integrated inclinometer
- Advanced Search Control – advanced search control
- Ghost Signal Elimination – to reduce false signals
- Deep Burial Recognition
- Backup Mode
- Auto Antenna
Bluetooth connectivity allows you to connect the Pieps PRO IPS to the Pieps App to perform firmware updates, configure settings, and create custom training scenarios.
