Wild Country Ropeman 4 Orange - Orange is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
DESCRIPTION
The Wild Country Ropeman 4 is a compact and versatile ascender designed for those who need a reliable tool in a wide range of technical situations: from rope ascent to rescue and self-rescue maneuvers on a rock face or from a crevasse, to progression on a short rope and use as an adjuster for lanyards and slings.
Construction and technology
The latest version of the Ropeman family introduces a new side closing system that simplifies rope insertion and locking even with gloves or under stress. The toothed steel cam ensures a secure grip on wet, icy, or muddy ropes, maintaining locking performance even in the harshest conditions typical of mountaineering and canyoning. The body is made of forged aluminum, which ensures a good balance between mechanical strength and weight containment.
Versatility and contexts of use
- Ascending a fixed rope in alpine environments or on big walls
- Self-rescue and crevasse rescue in glacial environments
- Adjusting the length of lanyards and slings
- Progression on a short rope on mixed terrain
Thanks to its compact size, the Ropeman 4 is easily carried on a harness or in a backpack without taking up much space, making it a concrete choice for those who want a multi-functional tool without sacrificing the essential nature of their kit.
