DESCRIPTION
The Scarpa Rapid XT GTX Woman is a leather approach shoe designed for those tackling mixed trails, crag approaches, and light hiking routes without compromising on protection and comfort. The design is clean and functional, with a construction that balances trail lightness with the sturdiness needed for technical terrain.
Technology and materials
The full-grain leather upper guarantees abrasion resistance and good long-term durability, while the GORE-TEX ePE membrane — the new generation of Gore-Tex with a reduced environmental impact — ensures complete waterproofing and high breathability without compromising technical performance. The all-around TPU rand protects the shoe from side impacts and rocks, extending the life of the footwear even during the vertical movements typical of approach climbing.
Grip and ground hold
- Vibram® MegaGrip sole, a compound with extremely high grip on both wet and dry rock
- Tread pattern optimized for the transition between trail and wall
- Fit geometry designed for the female foot morphology
- Padded collar for ankle support without stiffening the step
It is the right choice for those who reach the crag on foot, traverse medium-difficulty mule tracks, or alternate trail sections with rocky sections. The Rapid XT GTX Woman offers the versatility of a true approach shoe, with the advantage of reliable waterproofing on uncertain days.
