Salewa Wildfire 2 Junior Shoe

DESCRIPTION

The Salewa Wildfire 2 is an approach and lifestyle shoe designed for children who are starting to explore mountain trails. Developed using expertise gained in the Dolomites, it combines lightness and protection to accompany young hikers across a variety of terrains, from woodland paths to easy via ferratas.

Construction and materials

The synthetic upper is both lightweight and abrasion-resistant, an essential quality when children tend to scuff their feet against rocks and roots. A peripheral rubber protective rand protects the areas most exposed to impacts, extending the life of the shoe even with heavy use. The structure remains flexible enough to adapt to the natural gait of a growing foot.

Sole and grip

The Pomoca™ Junior Hike sole features a tread pattern specifically designed for children's feet, with softness and lugging carefully balanced to ensure grip on compact trails, damp grass and rocky surfaces. The difference compared to a generic children's sole is noticeable on descents, where controlled grip reduces the risk of slipping and increases safety.

• Lightweight and abrasion-resistant synthetic upper

It is a practical choice for parents looking for a versatile shoe, suitable for both weekend trips to the mountains and everyday school use, without compromising on genuine technical standards.
