DESCRIPTION
The Petzl PAW S is a triangular aluminum plate designed to distribute forces across multiple anchor points, making the belay station more solid and organized. Its three-hole geometry allows multiple locking carabiners or anchors to be connected simultaneously, making it possible to equalize the tension between the various protection points—an essential feature when working on multi-anchor belay stations in vertical environments.
Technical applications
The PAW S is particularly useful for big wall ascents, where managing the belay station becomes complex and an organized system is needed to manage multiple lines simultaneously.
