DESCRIPTION
The Salewa Agner Rope Bag XL is a large rope bag designed for those who use standard-length or longer single ropes, or who prefer extra space during crag and mountain sessions. The XL size comfortably accommodates 60 to 80-meter ropes without forced compression, reducing tangles when retrieving the rope.
Construction and access
The bag is made from abrasion-resistant fabric, suitable for contact with rocky surfaces and uneven terrain. It features a full-length zipper that allows the bag to open completely flat: a far from obvious detail that makes it easy to lay out the rope neatly and quickly locate the correct end without rummaging inside. The closure also protects against dust and moisture during transport.
Removable mat and rope management
The removable inner mat features two attachment points that keep it stable inside the bag during use. This keeps the rope off the ground, reducing the buildup of debris, sand, and dirt that can degrade the rope's sheath over time. The mat can be removed and placed separately directly at the base of the route, allowing you to coil the rope without having to move the entire bag.
