DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Tarp PRO is a large format rope tarp, designed for those who want a clean and organized base in any climbing context — from granite crags to dusty limestone walls.
Work Space and Rope Protection
With a usable surface area of 100 x 100 cm, it offers ample space to lay out the rope without it coming into direct contact with dirty ground, dust, or debris that can compromise the sheath over time. This is a concrete advantage: a clean rope better preserves its dynamic properties and glides more smoothly through carabiners and belay devices.
Compatibility and Transport
- Designed to be quickly stowed in Petzl Bucket 30 and Bucket 45 bags, with which it forms an integrated and compact system.
- The tarp's shape and materials allow for quick folding at the end of a session, without wasting time between pitches.
- Its generous size makes it suitable for both individual and partner use, leaving space to coil the rope without tangling.
In contexts where the ground is wet, sandy, or particularly abrasive, an accessory like the Tarp PRO is not optional: it is an integral part of routine equipment maintenance. Compatible with the entire Petzl ecosystem dedicated to rope management.
