DESCRIPTION
The Petzl BUG is a climbing backpack designed for long multi-pitch routes, capable of accompanying you from the approach to the last pitch without ever hindering your movements. Its structure is optimized to hold all the essentials on the wall — hydration bladder, technical clothing, climbing shoes, and food supplies — while maintaining a compact profile that fits snugly against your back.
Construction and comfort on the wall
The shoulder strap system is designed to ensure maximum freedom of arm and shoulder movement during climbing, a crucial detail on challenging pitches where every gesture counts. The adjustable hip belt distributes the load and stabilizes the pack during more dynamic movements, reducing the perceived bulk even with a full backpack. The volume is calibrated to not be excessive, favoring a snug fit that doesn't swing or interfere with crack climbing.
Main features
- Compatible with hydration bladders for autonomous outings
- Spacious main compartment for clothing, climbing shoes, and food
- Minimal bulk on the body to not limit movement while climbing
- Adjustable hip belt for stability during dynamic use
- Gray color, discreet and versatile for everyday use
Thanks to its versatility, the BUG works equally well as an approach pack and for daily use, making it a reliable companion both out and about and at the climbing crag.
