DESCRIPTION
The Fixe Pedraforca is a climbing rope with triple CE certification: single (1), half (½), and twin (∞), designed for those who want no compromise between versatility and performance. With a diameter of 8.8 mm and a length of 60 meters, it falls into a lightweight category while maintaining strength suitable for advanced technical use.
Construction and technology
The Fusion construction system sets this rope apart in terms of safety: the core and sheath are woven together to work in synergy, distributing impact forces more effectively and increasing resistance to abrasion on sharp rock, edges, and exposed ridges. This feature makes it particularly suitable for mixed alpine terrain, where the rope may be subjected to irregular stresses along the route.
Use and versatility
Its triple certification makes it suitable for a wide range of configurations: in single rope use for demanding sport routes or big walls, in half rope use to reduce friction on alternating protection in mountaineering, or in a twin rope configuration to maximize redundancy on icy or mixed terrain. It is no coincidence that it is a proven choice among mountain guides for its adaptability to variable conditions. The purple color makes it easy to identify immediately in a rope team.
