DESCRIPTION
The Fixe Oliana 9.2 mm is a dynamic climbing rope with triple UIAA/CE certification (single, half, and twin), designed for those who want a single versatile tool for sport climbing, multi-pitch, and light mountaineering. Its 9.2 mm diameter and 58 g/m weight place it in the performance rope category without sacrificing structural strength.
Construction and technology
The Fusion Construction system optimizes the relationship between the core and sheath, increasing abrasion resistance on sharp rocks and jagged ridges—environments where thinner ropes often show their limitations. This technology distributes impact forces more evenly across the cross-section, reducing localized wear. The 70-meter version in blue is available in an untreated configuration.
Main technical features
- Diameter: 9.2 mm
- Length: 70 meters
- Weight: 58 g/m (total weight approximately 4,060 g)
- Certification: single (1), half (½), twin (∞)
- Construction: Fusion Construction
- UIAA falls as a single rope: according to EN 892 standards
With a length of 70 meters, the Oliana 9.2 comfortably covers modern long sport routes and the most demanding multi-pitch pitches, where reducing the weight in your pack makes a real difference on rappels and prolonged elevation gains.
