DESCRIPTION
The Edelrid PIT 35 is a sport climbing backpack with a distinct identity: built for those who frequent crags and climbing gyms and are looking for a reliable, spacious, and easy-to-handle carrier. Its round shape is reminiscent of a classic haul bag, but with the structure and details of a wearable backpack.
Capacity and access
With a capacity of 35 liters, the PIT offers enough space for rope, shoes, harness, quickdraws, and a change of clothes. It is loaded from the top via a draw-cord opening, which allows you to fill and empty the backpack quickly without zippers to open with chalk-covered hands. This system is particularly practical during crag sessions, when the contents often change throughout the day.
Construction and carrying
- Cylindrical shape for even load distribution
- Padded shoulder straps and back attachment system for trail carrying and approaches
- Abrasion-resistant outer material, suitable for contact with rock and gym floors
- External or side pockets for quick access to chalk, keys, and snacks
The PIT 35 is a practical choice for those who want a versatile backpack for both the gym and outdoors, with a carefully sized volume so you never carry too much or too little during a day dedicated to climbing.
