DESCRIPTION
The CAMP Elektra 9.2 is a dynamic rope with a 9.2 mm diameter designed for intensive sport climbing, where light weight and handling make a difference during long crag sessions. With a length of 70 meters and a high-visibility orange color, it stands out for its certified versatility: it can be used as a single, half, and twin rope, adapting to different climbing styles without compromising safety.
Construction and technology
Despite its reduced diameter, CAMP has developed an optimized sheath and core construction for the Elektra that ensures above-average abrasion resistance for this weight category. The result is a rope that maintains its performance even after numerous falls and repeated sessions, reducing the premature deterioration typical of ultralight ropes. The Untwisted Package system allows the rope to be removed from the packaging without tangles, so you can start climbing immediately without wasting time untangling knots.
When to choose it
The Elektra 9.2 is the ideal choice for those who frequently visit the crag and are looking for a solid compromise between lightness, handling, and longevity. Its small diameter makes it very smooth in quickdraws, reducing friction during progression, while its 70-meter length covers even sectors with longer routes, always ensuring sufficient margin for rappelling.
