DESCRIPTION
The Beal Zenith 9.5mm is a single sport climbing rope designed for those seeking a real balance between low weight, smoothness, and handling at the crag. With a diameter of 9.5 mm, it sits in the thin rope category without compromising the solidity needed for intensive use on sport routes.
Technical features
The Zenith's construction guarantees high fluidity through quickdraws, making belaying fast and precise even in strenuous situations or with distant bolts. The 80-metre version is designed for routes with long bolt spacing or for those who want a versatile rope in different settings without having to compromise on the available length. The Blue colour makes it easier to identify the rope centre during the climb.
Who it is for and how to use it
The Zenith 9.5mm meets the needs of those who regularly climb at the crag and are looking for a rope that won't weigh down their gear bag and performs well even during the most demanding sessions. The 9.5 mm diameter offers a good compromise between everyday handling — more comfortable than ultra-thin ropes — and noticeable lightness on multi-pitch routes or high-volume climbing days. The fluidity through carabiners reduces the perception of friction during the climb, contributing to a smoother progression and easier management by the belayer.
