DESCRIPTION
The Beal Zenith 9.5mm is a single-strand sport climbing rope designed for those seeking a real balance between lightness, smoothness, and fall resistance. With a diameter of 9.5 mm and a length of 70 meters, it falls into the performance rope category for crag climbing, where every saved gram and every extra meter of handling counts.
Technical features
The slim diameter guarantees superior fluidity when clipping, making clipping faster and less strenuous, a crucial aspect in multi-pitch routes or key sections. The construction effectively balances the rope's handling with a compact structure that limits its weight in the backpack without sacrificing the sheath's durability. As per Beal standards, the Zenith complies with the EN 892 / UIAA certifications for single ropes, with the impact force values and certified number of falls typical of the category.
Ideal use
The 70-meter Zenith 9.5mm is designed for sport climbing sessions at the crag, where the length allows for covering routes with comfortable rappels and the lightness translates into less overall fatigue during the day. It is a solid choice for those climbing medium-to-hard routes who want a rope that does not compromise technical movement or ground management by the belay partner. The Blue color makes it easy to identify quickly on the wall.
