With a diameter of 8 mm, the Rando belongs to the category of lightweight ropes for mountaineering use. The construction follows Beal standards in terms of nylon quality and sheath weave, ensuring abrasion resistance even on snow, ice, and rock. The 20-metre format makes it particularly manageable for rope team use on glaciers or for belaying short exposed sections during demanding traverses.
