Edelrid Sendero Harness
Edelrid Sendero Harness - Turquoise / S is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
DESCRIPTION
The Edelrid Sendero is a multipurpose climbing harness designed for those who tackle both crag routes and alpine outings with significant elevation gain. The feature that sets it apart is the Center Fit construction, a movable padding system on the lumbar belt that allows the pad to be perfectly centered against the back, adapting to the wearer's proportions instead of imposing a fixed geometry.
Construction and technologies
The adjustable padding is not simply slideable: it ensures that pressure is distributed symmetrically during belay stances on bolts or long waits in alpine terrain. The leg loops are equipped with automatic closures that make dressing easier even with gloves or in cold conditions, without sacrificing fine adjustment. The low weight makes the Sendero suitable to be carried in the backpack as an emergency harness or during long approaches, where every gram counts.
Who it is suitable for
- Rock climbing on crags and multi-pitch routes
- Alpine outings with equipped passages and via ferratas
- Activities in mountain environments where a versatile and comfortable harness is required for prolonged belay stances
The combination of lightness, comfort at the belay, and the Center Fit adjustment system makes the Sendero a solid choice for those looking for a single harness to use in different contexts, without having to compromise either on fit or practicality during the approach.
