DESCRIPTION
The Wild Country Session is a climbing helmet with a hybrid construction that combines two distinct materials for impact protection: an expanded polypropylene (EPP) core, capable of absorbing repeated impacts while maintaining its structural characteristics, and an expanded polystyrene (EPS) insert, optimized for dissipating energy in the event of a single violent impact. This dual absorption technology ensures a higher level of safety compared to helmets constructed with only one material.
Structure and protection
The outer polycarbonate shell helps to keep the overall weight down, starting from 200g in the smallest size, without compromising robustness. A relevant technical aspect is the extension of the shell down to the nape of the neck, a construction detail that significantly improves rear and lateral protection — areas often overlooked in entry-level helmets and fundamental in case of rockfall or a slip.
Fit and adjustment
