The Wild Country Rock series represents one of the longest-standing and most respected lines of passive protection in modern mountaineering. The set from 6 to 10 includes five nuts with a distinctive geometry: the curved sides – a distinctive and patented feature of this range – allow for a more reliable fit in irregular cracks compared to straight-profile wedges, increasing the contact surface with the rock and reducing the risk of accidental dislodgement.
Construction and Materials
The wedges are made from high-strength aluminum machined to tight tolerances, ensuring lightness without sacrificing structural integrity.
