DESCRIPTION
The Wild Country Mosquito is a compact 16-liter backpack designed for crag climbing and mountain outings where weight makes a difference. Weighing only 500 grams, it's constructed from ripstop nylon which ensures tear and abrasion resistance without sacrificing lightness: the ideal compromise when climbing or moving fast.
Access and Organization
The wide top opening allows quick access to climbing gear, even with chalky hands. However, the distinctive feature of the Mosquito is its full side opening: the side of the backpack can be fully unzipped, transforming it into a sort of flat compartment from which to retrieve—or organize—cams, quickdraws, slings, and climbing shoes without having to empty everything from the top. This system reduces preparation time at the base of the route and simplifies gear management during belays.
