The Mohair 76 Skins from SKI TRAB are ski touring skins made of 100% mohair, the fabric of choice for those who prioritize glide on descents and flat sections without compromising reliable grip on ascents. The natural mohair pile ensures significantly lower resistance than synthetic fabrics, making them the ideal choice for long routes where energy expenditure makes a difference.
Construction and Attachment System
The skins feature the Ski Trab attachment system with a tip hook and an active tail hook, a solution that ensures constant tension on the ski base and reduces the risk of detachment even on wet snow or in freezing conditions. They are attached to the ski with traditional hot melt glue, a well-established system that offers good adhesion, easy removal, and the possibility of regenerating the adhesive surface over time.
