The upper incorporates a Gore-Tex® membrane, ensuring waterproofness and breathability in rain, morning dew, or light snow, keeping feet dry during the approach. The Salewa SwitchFit system is the shoe's core: it allows for a quick transition from a comfortable trekking fit to the more snug and precise fit required for climbing, by directly adjusting the shoe's structure around the forefoot. The Vibram® Mega-Grip outsole with a rock-specific compound provides grip on granite, wet limestone, and rocky trails, with a heel profile designed for rappelling and descending steep terrain.
