The Salewa Pedroc SW DST Wind Pant W is a hybrid pant designed for those who move fast at high altitudes, where conditions change quickly and every gram counts. The hybrid construction combines two distinct technical fabrics: the main body made of Durastretch, a lightweight and four-way elastic material that ensures freedom of movement even on the most dynamic ascents, and the thigh panels made of water-repellent and windproof Stormwall softshell, which offer additional protection in areas most exposed to wind and humidity.
Technical construction and protection
The combination of the two fabrics is not accidental: Durastretch ensures breathability and agility where needed, while Stormwall comes into play on the thighs, precisely where the wind hits most during uphill progression. The result is a windproof, water-repellent, and lightweight pant, suitable for both speed hiking and ski mountaineering approaches.
