DESCRIPTION
The SALEWA Dyneema Hot G3 Straight/Wire is a sport climbing quickdraw that combines structural robustness and lightness, designed for those who do not compromise on equipment quality. The sling is made of Dyneema, an ultra-high strength fiber that guarantees a superior weight/strength ratio compared to traditional nylon, keeping the quickdraw compact and responsive during clipping.
Construction and technical details
The two carabiners belong to SALEWA's Hot G3 series: the straight gate version is for anchoring to the bolt, while the wire gate version on the rope side reduces overall weight and lowers the risk of accidental opening due to vibrations or bouncing. A relevant construction detail is the integrated Sling Protector, a device that locks the lower carabiner in the correct position on the sling, preventing unwanted rotations that could orient the gate towards the wall during a fall.
When to use it
