DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Vertigo Twist-Lock is an automatic locking connector designed specifically for rope access and vertical progression, where speed and safety in redirect maneuvers cannot be compromised. Its asymmetrical geometry offers a stable and intuitive grip even with gloves, making every connection and disconnection operation quick and controlled.
Closing and opening system
The Twist-Lock mechanism ensures automatic gate locking with a rotating system: a single twisting action is enough to open the connector, eliminating accidental openings during maneuvers. The Keylock system on the gate removes the traditional hook from the nose, so the connector doesn't snag on hangers, quick links, or other components of the anchor system.
