DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Spirit Express 25 cm is a sport climbing quickdraw built around Spirit carabiners, recognizable by their asymmetrical oval section shape which naturally orientates the load on the major axis and facilitates clipping maneuvers even in awkward positions or with fatigued fingers.
Technology and construction
Both carabiners feature the Keylock system: the nose is hook-free, which eliminates the risk of involuntary snagging on the sling, protection, or harness during clipping and unclipping. The EXPRESS sling is shaped with two openings of different sizes—narrower on the carabiner attached to the protection, wider on the service carabiner—so the carabiner facing the rope always maintains a stable orientation and does not rotate under load.
