DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Swift RL is a high-performance rechargeable headlamp, designed for those who engage in demanding nocturnal sports activities: from night trail running to ski mountaineering, up to technical terrain outings in low visibility conditions. With a 1200 lumen output and a contained weight of 92 grams, it offers a power-to-weight ratio that is hard to match in its category.
Technology and optical performance
The heart of the Swift RL is the proprietary REACTIVE LIGHTING technology: an integrated sensor reads the ambient brightness in real time and automatically adjusts the intensity of the light beam according to the context. In dark and open terrain, the sensor brings the lamp to maximum power; in the presence of walls, close-up snow or reflective obstacles, it automatically reduces the flow, optimizing both visibility and battery life. The practical result is completely automatic light management that requires no manual intervention during activity.
