DESCRIPTION
The PETZL Oxan Triact Lock is an oval, high-strength steel carabiner, designed for demanding work environments: work at height, rescue, industrial interventions, and the installation of complex anchoring systems. Its symmetrical oval shape distinguishes it from asymmetric D-shaped carabiners: its symmetry allows for balanced load distribution on both sides, ensuring stable positioning when connected to metal structures, rings, pulleys, or horizontal bars.
Technical features
The steel construction gives the Oxan superior strength compared to aluminum versions, making it the correct choice in contexts where abrasion, impact with metal surfaces, and prolonged use are the norm. The Triact Lock closure system is an automatic three-motion sequential lock – lift, twist, open – which prevents accidental gate opening even when handled with gloves or during rapid maneuvers.
