DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Axess 25 cm is a pre-stitched nylon sling designed for sport climbing, where simple construction and long-term reliability make a difference on every quickdraw. With its 25 cm length, it represents the intermediate-long size in the Axess range — also available in 12 and 17 cm — and allows for better management of lateral rope pull, reducing the risk of leverage on the carabiner during a quickdraw.
Construction and materials
The sling body is made of high-strength nylon, double-stitched at the ends to ensure a stable and durable opening. The most relevant feature is the integrated STRING protection: a soft material loop that keeps the carabiner correctly positioned at the end, preventing unwanted rotations during attachment and simultaneously protecting the stitching from repeated rubbing against the metal.
