The Mountain Equipment Makalu Women's Jacket is a hardshell jacket made from 3-layer GORE-TEX fabric, designed to tackle severe mountain weather conditions without sacrificing freedom of movement. The GORE-TEX membrane guarantees total waterproofing and active breathability, keeping the internal microclimate dry during prolonged ascents or trekking days with heavy rain.
Construction and materials
The 3-layer laminate gives the jacket a compact and abrasion-resistant structure, with a soft-touch finish that distinguishes it from more rigid technical shells.
