DESCRIPTION
The Mountain Equipment Earthrise Hooded is a women's down jacket designed for those who do not want to compromise between thermal performance and environmental responsibility. The entire construction uses 100% recycled materials, from the shell to the lining, to the ethically sourced certified down filling.
Insulation and Construction
The heart of the jacket is a filling of hydrophobic goose down (DWR), which maintains thermal properties even in moderately damp conditions. The sewn-through baffle construction allows for uniform down distribution and eliminates cold spots, ensuring constant warmth even during stops at high altitudes. The close-fitting hood is helmet-compatible and adapts to the head without losing stability during movement.
Use and Fit
The slim fit cut is designed to be worn under a hardshell without creating bulk or limiting freedom of movement: a decisive feature in ski touring and winter hiking where efficient layering is essential.
