DESCRIPTION
The Mammut Runbold Winter SO Pants are winter softshell pants designed for mountain hikes and ski touring in extremely cold conditions. Their 3-layer construction with an internal fleece lining provides active thermal insulation without sacrificing freedom of movement, making them suitable for both long traverses on snow and high-altitude days with harsh temperatures.
Technical construction and materials
The main fabric is a recycled stretch softshell, which ensures wind resistance and water repellency thanks to a DWR treatment, while its predominantly recycled composition reduces the environmental impact of production. The soft fleece lining retains body heat even during prolonged stops in the cold, without generating the feeling of oppression typical of classic padded pants.
