The Mammut Alto Light 3-in-1 HS Hooded Jacket is a complete solution for hiking and trekking in variable weather conditions, where having to choose between waterproofing and warmth is a luxury you can't afford. The modular system combines two distinct garments — wearable separately or together — into a single solution that adapts to the evolving day in the mountains.
Construction and Materials
The outer shell is made with Mammut DRY 2.5-layer technology, a waterproof and breathable membrane that blocks water and wind without stifling. The fit is optimized by an adjustable hood and adaptable cuffs, while underarm ventilation zips allow for active temperature management during climbs or more demanding sections. The outer panel features two pockets easily accessible even with a backpack on.
The Inner Insulating Jacket
The inner layer is a lightweight padded jacket that can be attached to the shell, designed to retain warmth during breaks or in colder conditions, and to be used as a standalone layer in mid-seasons or at altitude when the sky is still clear. The combination of the two layers ensures complete weather protection without sacrificing compressibility and active heat management.
