DESCRIPTION
The LEKI Guide Lite 2 Carbon is a two-segment telescopic pole designed for ski mountaineering and demanding trekking, where the compromise between stiffness, weight, and handling makes a difference at high altitudes. The hybrid structure combines a high-strength aluminum upper section with a lower section made of carbon reinforced with aramid fibers: the result is a shaft that absorbs vibrations on uneven terrain while maintaining minimal torsion under load.
Grip and Locking System
The pole features the new Aergon Air grip, developed by LEKI with an internal cavity technology that reduces the mass of the grip without sacrificing ergonomic contact with the hand. This lightweight geometry improves pressure distribution during long ascents, reducing wrist fatigue. The Speed Lock 2 locking system allows for quick and secure length adjustment even with gloves, ensuring reliable adjustment in typical winter mountaineering conditions.
